Entering Fuel Types
The Fuel Type pane allows entry of the grand totals of miles and gallons (or kilometers and liters) by each fuel type, for the entire return.
¨ Enter the two-letter fuel type code (i.e. DI for diesel) in the FT column.
¨ Enter the total distance traveled on that fuel type for the quarter in the Total Miles column.
¨ Enter the total volume of fuel purchased and placed in the vehicles in the Total Gallons column.
¨ Divide the mileage by the gallons, and enter the result in the MPG column.
¨ Enter another two-letter fuel type code (i.e. GA for gasoline) and repeat the process to enter the data for that fuel type.
¨ Click the Add More Fuel Types button to add another row to the table for additional fuel types.

Total Miles (Kilometers) |
Column (numbers) On the row for a type of fuel, enter the total distance as a number of total miles or kilometers for all vehicles using this fuel type, in all jurisdictions for the quarter. |

Total Gallons (Liters) |
Column (numbers) On the row for a type of fuel, enter the fuel volume as the number of total gallons or liters of the fuel type, for all vehicles in all jurisdictions for the quarter. |

MPG (KPL) |
Column (numbers) For each row of a fuel type, divide the total distance by the total fuel, and put the result in the MPG column. |

Add More Fuel Types |
Button If you need to enter information for more than two fuel types, click the Add More Fuel Types button to add a new, blank row at the bottom of the table. Multiple rows may be added. |
