Across the top working area is a row of links labeled: MCS Home, IFTA Home, Help, and Log Out.
To find further information located on the MCS home page, click on the MCS Home link (in white text) located on the top link bar.
This may close your browser session in the Fuel Tax System, and you may lose unsaved work. To avoid losing work, right click the link and select Open in a New Window or Open in a New Tab.
When the IFTA Home link is clicked (in white text on the bar above the work area), the system will display the dashboard for the logged-in user’s information (the user’s starting page). This home page display is detailed in the section called Home Page and Work Queues a few pages later in this document.
This may cause a loss of data if there is unsubmitted data in a form (such as an incomplete tax return, or changes to an account that have not been saved or the Continue button has not yet been pressed.
Any user may log off the system at any time by clicking the Log Off link (in white text) located on the top link bar. The browser session may then be closed.
It is suggested that the session be logged off if the user is not actively using the system.
Note:
On any page where data is potentially being added or edited there may be either a Continue or a Submit button. If the Continue or Submit button for the page is not pressed before navigating away from a page, the data may not be added or updated.
Some information displayed in this system is stored in other systems (such as OSS) and cannot be changed through this software.
